Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomé Azevedo kicked off to start the match. Vasco Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kai-Uwe Bartek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Mehmet Ferit İsmet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivo Guterres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomé Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After taking down the ball on SC Freiburg 09's corner Mehmet Ferit İsmet fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kai-Uwe Bartek quite easily take care of the ball. SC Freiburg 09's Ivo Guterres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Azevedo in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Freiburg 09's Vasco Brás got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Tomé Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Guterres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 09's goal looked a bit too open when Juancho Bonachea came free, but Ivo Guterres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Seemayer in the 38th minute of play forced SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivo Guterres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flemming Joanesarson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Juancho Bonachea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivo Guterres. SC Freiburg 09's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juancho Bonachea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
