Emil Gabor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. LOS MENTI's Şenol Güneş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irinel Tatomir in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, LOS MENTI's goalkeeper Şenol Güneş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Irinel Tatomir. Emil Gabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Iratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Irinel Tatomir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şenol Güneş having to interfere. LOS MENTI's Şenol Güneş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Vărzaru in the 25th minute of play. After 28 minutes ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Gagriel who took care of the corner kick. Marco George made a great header on LOS MENTI's corner, it was just that ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Emil Gabor managed to reach the ball for a save. Lucrețiu Ghimiș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Şenol Güneş made a huge save. Felipe Pereyra kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Lucrețiu Ghimiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şenol Güneş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goal looked a bit too open when Marco George came free, but Emil Gabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Lucrețiu Ghimiș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şenol Güneş narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOS MENTI's goalkeeper Şenol Güneş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the LOS MENTI defense, Lucrețiu Ghimiș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şenol Güneş. The LOS MENTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şenol Güneş should have stopped the shot. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 made a substitution. Nils Helberg replaced Eugen Mihălțan. Hermengildo Soin hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Şenol Güneş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irinel Tatomir in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, LOS MENTI's Hermengildo Soin got a free kick in the 78th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the game, one of LOS MENTI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Şenol Güneş had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Lucrețiu Ghimiș's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Hermengildo Soin hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 fans cheered their team off the field, for while LOS MENTI had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
