Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Petros Mousa got the match started through his kick off. Zacarias Darien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Aro FC defense, He Qiang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harry Higuita. The Aro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harry Higuita should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the match, Aro FC's goal looked a bit too open when He Qiang came free, but Harry Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nate Drakenborg in the 14th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Higuita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Qiang in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nate Drakenborg in the 19th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Isac Muntian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Nate Drakenborg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Pepe Santoro made a huge save. After 29 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Viveiros. After 30 played minutes Aro FC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Darien. Pepe Santoro came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Aro FC's Nate Drakenborg. But to his dismay, Nate Drakenborg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pepe Santoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the game, Aro FC's Nate Drakenborg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pepe Santoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Nate Drakenborg scored to the left of an out of position Pepe Santoro, making the score, 4-1. Harry Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from He Qiang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB defense, Nate Drakenborg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pepe Santoro. The INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pepe Santoro should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nate Drakenborg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pepe Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Errikos Tsagaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Arslan İzhan. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Narciso Vergaray was substituted for Higinio Barros. If Errikos Tsagaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pepe Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nate Drakenborg in the 63rd minute of play. After 63 minutes, Nate Drakenborg made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pepe Santoro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zacarias Darien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pepe Santoro having to make a save. After 71 played minutes Aro FC got a freekick which was hit by Mats Sigman. In the 72nd minute of the match, Narciso Vergaray got a very nice opportunity to score, but Harry Higuita was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Aro FC's Isac Muntian got a free kick in the 77th minute. The Aro FC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Aro FC's Nate Drakenborg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 91 minutes, He Qiang made it 7-3 with a short kick to the right side. Aro FC's Harry Higuita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Harry Higuita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petros Mousa in the 94th minute. Cao Yue Zheng hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the game, Narciso Vergaray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aro FC the free kick. The supporters of Aro FC booed when INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Vergaray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Errikos Tsagaris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aro FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
