The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Júlio Porto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aldo Mincho in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Sven-Arne Hellsing notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto. Júlio Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Flavio Escobar made in the 7th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sven-Arne Hellsing immediately put the ball in play. Sven-Arne Hellsing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven-Arne Hellsing received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Júlio Porto came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven-Arne Hellsing slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 11th minute. The supporters of CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 booed when Fúria Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Lamego in the 17th minute of the match. Júlio Porto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vasco Lamego went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 19 played minutes Fúria Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Fernandes. The crowd rose to their feet as CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Bonifacio Bartoli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Júlio Porto. That made the score 4-0 after 20 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Fúria Futebol Clube's Frank Campidelis got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Durval Rossi fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fúria Futebol Clube's protests and gave Durval Rossi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 booed when Fúria Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Fúria Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Sílvio Cruz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fúria Futebol Clube's zone, Bonifacio Bartoli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Porto came out of the goal and Bonifacio Bartoli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 minutes, Sven-Arne Hellsing made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto got control of the ball when Bonifacio Bartoli tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Sven-Arne Hellsing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Arne Hellsing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Bonifacio Bartoli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sven-Arne Hellsing received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Júlio Porto came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven-Arne Hellsing slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 40th minute. Júlio Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Arne Hellsing, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute of the match CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 got a corner. Fúria Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sotos Kastaniou ran over to the corner to take the kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hortêncio Fernandes made the kick off in the second half. When CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Sven-Arne Hellsing in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fúria Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Júlio Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasco Lamego's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fúria Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Júlio Porto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Júlio Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Lamego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Arnulfo Liberto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Porto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sven-Arne Hellsing took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Porto. Júlio Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Vasco Lamego scored 10-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Porto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 made a substitution. Marcelo Delgado replaced Bonifacio Bartoli. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 made a substitution. Carlos Alberto Tevez replaced Sven-Arne Hellsing. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Zachariasz Pstrongowski was substituted for Vasco Lamego. After some careless play in the Fúria Futebol Clube defense, Carlos Alberto Tevez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Porto. The Fúria Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Porto should have stopped the shot. After 79 played minutes Fúria Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Fernandes. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Arnulfo Liberto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Evaristo Mesquita, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Júlio Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Alberto Tevez's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. When Carlos Alberto Tevez came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Alberto Tevez couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the game, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Carlos Alberto Tevez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Uriel Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Fernandes in the 90th minute of play. Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 96th minute of play. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
