Libra's Mauricio Portillo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sotiris Alexandropoulos in the 88 minute of the game. SSV Ulm 1846's Don Merlot got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigge Fürst took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timo Courtois. Timo Courtois dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Sigge Fürst scored 2-4 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timo Courtois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timo Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Viklund in the 99th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SSV Ulm 1846 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
