Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nevada Etxeberria in the 14th minute of play. Saturnino Nieto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhou Kang Cheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Tello Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Stroobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ALPUJARRAS LIBRE getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Lauren Verges hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Michel Oss took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Saturnino Nieto to make any attempt to save it. Ted Stroobos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nevada Etxeberria's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Niels Zwart hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Lauren Verges shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ted Stroobos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ALPUJARRAS LIBRE reached it. Ted Stroobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nevada Etxeberria in the 29th minute of play. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Saturnino Nieto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save ALPUJARRAS LIBRE from getting a goal against them. Ted Stroobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tello Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Arne Daamen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ted Stroobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Toxeiro in the 36th minute of the match. Saturnino Nieto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Warman de Jager, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnold Hemmen got free with Saturnino Nieto in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 48th play minutes Zhou Kang Cheng shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Saturnino Nieto and just under the crossbar into goal.

Zhou Kang Cheng struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Saturnino Nieto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albertus FC. When Lauren Verges fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's protests and gave Lauren Verges a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Lauren Verges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ALPUJARRAS LIBRE getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Sigfrido Ocaña showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After 85 minutes, Michel Oss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albertus FC and the ALPUJARRAS LIBRE players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ALPUJARRAS LIBRE booed when Albertus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Oss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ted Stroobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Cayuela in the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Arnold Hemmen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albertus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnold Hemmen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Nieto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
