Cristian Vella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ted Stroobos made a huge save. 17 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Solchaga came free, but Ted Stroobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Solchaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, All Boys's Ted Stroobos threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pablo Solchaga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Pablo Solchaga took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Ted Stroobos to make any attempt to save it. Luizinho de Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. After a defensive mix-up in All Boys's zone, Michel Oss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizinho de Queirós came out of the goal and Michel Oss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pablo Solchaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ted Stroobos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Albertus FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
