Lucio Toxeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Calvet made a huge save. In the 21st minute, Ramón Huguet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Calvet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nevada Etxeberria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Academia de Campeones's Rodolfo Calvet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Academia de Campeones from getting a goal against them. Academia de Campeones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ALPUJARRAS LIBRE the free kick. The supporters of ALPUJARRAS LIBRE booed when Academia de Campeones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Ángel Gambier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nevada Etxeberria was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Academia de Campeones's Saturnino Nieto threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kai Havertz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 64th minute, Kermit Froggaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Calvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tello Lopez in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Kermit Froggaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Nieto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Sigfrido Ocaña was substituted for Lucio Toxeiro. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Gaston Cayuela was substituted for Tello Lopez. Kermit Froggaard received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Saturnino Nieto came out and tried to block the shot, but Kermit Froggaard slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 89th minute. Sigfrido Ocaña kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 minutes, Galo Adán mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ALPUJARRAS LIBRE and the Academia de Campeones players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes ALPUJARRAS LIBRE got a freekick which was hit by Galo Adán. When the match was over Academia de Campeones could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ALPUJARRAS LIBRE throughout the match.
