KINDERUZ's Isidoro Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Wei Sha in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes KINDERUZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teodoro Mazza who took care of the corner kick. Teodosio Olo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murilo Ferreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Buritama Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Olo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Murilo Ferreira having to make a save. Murilo Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Olo in the 22nd minute of play. When Ricardo Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KINDERUZ's protests and gave Ricardo Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KINDERUZ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ricardo Carvalho hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, KINDERUZ's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo da Fonseca came free, but Isidoro Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wang Wei Sha made a great header on Buritama Sports's corner, it was just that KINDERUZ's Isidoro Nóbrega managed to reach the ball for a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo da Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira got control of the ball when Teodosio Olo tried to sneak it across the goal line. KINDERUZ were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Buritama Sports's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nechifor Isbășoiu took the corner. Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Buritama Sports from getting a goal against them. Murilo Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Olo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Gilvan de Lara was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Teodosio Olo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Murilo Ferreira made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
