Benjamin Carberry dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Sterescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Gzpn Timisoara's Augustin Bălăiță proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Gzpn Timisoara from getting a goal against them. Gzpn Timisoara's Augustin Bălăiță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Carberry in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Silver Squad AFC defense, Sabin Tatomir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waud De Geyter. The Silver Squad AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waud De Geyter should have stopped the shot. In the 24th match minute, Silver Squad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Fryderyk Mondrowski kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Tatomir, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Gzpn Timisoara got a corner. Silver Squad AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Olo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Gzpn Timisoara's corner Dan Scutaru fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Waud De Geyter quite easily take care of the ball. Augustin Bălăiță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 33rd minute of play. Augustin Bălăiță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 37th minute of the match. Silver Squad AFC were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Gzpn Timisoara's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Henrik Ooms took the corner. Benjamin Carberry who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Augustin Bălăiță when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Radomil Witkowski's late challenge caught a Silver Squad AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radomil Witkowski helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Gzpn Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Witkowski. With splendid footwork Benjamin Carberry arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-2 by the left pole in the game's 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Carberry to make the kick off. Mavrudi Chapalov hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Sabin Tatomir took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Waud De Geyter to make any attempt to save it. In the 57th minute Benjamin Carberry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Bălăiță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frans Van Caubergen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Dan Scutaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Carberry in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augustin Bălăiță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Augustin Bălăiță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 63rd minute of play. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Olo in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter got control of the ball when Daniel Sterescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gzpn Timisoara's Augustin Bălăiță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Radzyminski in the 72nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Sabin Tatomir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Waud De Geyter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 90 played minutes Silver Squad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Paiva. 95 minutes into the match, Gzpn Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Carberry came free, but Augustin Bălăiță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gzpn Timisoara had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
