An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Duarte in the 14th minute of play forced SAWEX FC's goalkeeper Leon Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes, Sigvard Boström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAWEX FC and the La Vuelta del Malon players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abelardo Erlantz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sigurds Kiriks charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sigurds Kiriks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Vuelta del Malon's Sigurds Kiriks got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Abelardo Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Lima in the 43rd minute of play. La Vuelta del Malon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAWEX FC the free kick. Julio Duarte hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Dagoberto Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAWEX FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Erlantz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. SAWEX FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
