FC NATIONAL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils Siöberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Artemio Domenech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apostolis Polychronopoulos in the 18th minute. Alexandros Petridis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leukippos Vlachos kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Akestes Bentihavas kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akestes Bentihavas during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, one of FC NATIONAL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC NATIONAL. The supporters of FC NATIONAL booed when C.A.JORGOVAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Busk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artemio Domenech was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Octavian Popescu. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils Siöberg to make the kick off. Leukippos Vlachos hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Eulalio Galindo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Octavian Popescu scored 1-8 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artemio Domenech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
