A collision led to FC MARKUS getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Teobald Jeziorkowski hit a great ball. Darío Graabirk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Teobald Jeziorkowski took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for René Stam to make any attempt to save it. In the 12th match minute, FC MARKUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbigniew Gendolla to maneuver through the defense. Darío Graabirk might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Slazak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darío Graabirk ran back to his position shaking his head. After 15 played minutes Las Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Quintun. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobald Jeziorkowski got free with René Stam in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. René Stam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gandalf Head in the 22nd minute of play. Teobald Jeziorkowski did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised René Stam 23 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Las Palmas's René Stam got control of the ball when Lucjan Drugi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the game, FC MARKUS got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gandalf Head made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Teobald Jeziorkowski came free, but René Stam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. René Stam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobald Jeziorkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When FC MARKUS's Teobald Jeziorkowski in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Las Palmas's protests and gave Rogelio Crescencio a yellow card for diving instead. Rogelio Crescencio hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Las Palmas defense, Pawel Sikola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of René Stam. The Las Palmas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that René Stam should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Gendolla in the 67th minute of play forced Las Palmas's goalkeeper René Stam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Zbigniew Gendolla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Las Palmas's René Stam was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Las Palmas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pawel Sikola was slow to take the kick. During this time FC MARKUS's players had a chance to rest. FC MARKUS's Edward Slazak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FC MARKUS from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FC MARKUS's Edward Slazak got control of the ball when Darío Graabirk tried to sneak it across the goal line. René Stam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Gendolla in the 75th minute of the match. Lucjan Drugi struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. René Stam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC MARKUS. In the 81st minute Lucjan Drugi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Stam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darío Graabirk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. René Stam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobald Jeziorkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. René Stam came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by FC MARKUS's Zbigniew Gendolla. But to his dismay, Zbigniew Gendolla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. There was no doubt that FC MARKUS were the better team. FC MARKUS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
