After some careless play in the Argentino de Banfield defense, Bror Ståhlman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Valentine. The Argentino de Banfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Valentine should have stopped the shot. In the 5th match minute, Argentino de Banfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Daunte to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Sven-Ove Stål shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes Garsås IF got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Löfgren. 9 minutes into the match, Nunez Berasko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfons Sjö. Garsås IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nunez Berasko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 12th minute Ola Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ola Lund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Valentine having to make a save. Leonides Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Garsås IF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bror Ståhlman hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, Garsås IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bror Ståhlman to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Charlie Löfgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Stål in the 30th minute of the match. Nunez Berasko kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Enrico Cesaroni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonides Valentine. Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Argentino de Banfield's goalie prevented a goal. Garsås IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Aurelio Nesor scored to the left of an out of position Alfons Sjö, making the score, 2-1. A sloppy throw-in by Sven-Ove Stål in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Argentino de Banfield's Aurelio Nesor. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Castulo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Nesor in the 50th minute of play forced Garsås IF's goalkeeper Alfons Sjö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argentino de Banfield's Leonides Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Stål in the 52nd minute of play. Garsås IF's Jan-Åke Jonasson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabián Noguera, made in the 54th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, Argentino de Banfield's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Stål came free, but Leonides Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Lund got free with Leonides Valentine in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute Aurelio Nesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Sjö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Sven-Ove Stål who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentino de Banfield's Leonides Valentine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maicon Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Garsås IF's Maicon Pereira got a free kick in the 79th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Argentino de Banfield's Raimundo Castulo tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Leonides Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Stål in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Lund got free with Leonides Valentine in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Ove Stål blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Valentine having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Stål in the 87th minute of play forced Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Argentino de Banfield's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Lund came free, but Leonides Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Nesor came free, but Alfons Sjö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Argentino de Banfield players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
