When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Koray Baran made a kick off. In the 62nd minute of the match, Koray Baran got a very nice opportunity to score, but Diego Mian was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Koray Baran ran back to his position shaking his head. Diego Mian made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Koray Baran sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute Giuseppe Basso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kıraç Şahinalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kıraç Şahinalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Bergomi, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Herberia Herons's Anthony Guidone was substituted for Eugenio Ruggieri.
