Sigvard Brask received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Alfredo Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kauã Moreno took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Fredriksson. Eric Fredriksson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 16 minutes, Marquinhos Teixeira made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Balders Hage IF's Eric Fredriksson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Ove Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvard Brask in the 23rd minute of play forced FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper Alfredo Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Fredriksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt Bouchard's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. FÊNIX F.C.'s Alfredo Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigvard Brask in the 28th minute of play. When FÊNIX F.C.'s Marquinhos Teixeira in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balders Hage IF's goalie prevented a goal. 30 minutes into the game, FÊNIX F.C.'s Marquinhos Teixeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Fredriksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Balders Hage IF's Eric Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Bouchard in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Marquinhos Teixeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FÊNIX F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

In the 54th minute of the match João Carlos Medeiros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eric Fredriksson skillfully saved the ball. Bengt Bouchard in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eric Fredriksson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bengt Bouchard did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Eric Fredriksson 58 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Bengt Bouchard got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 67th minute Marquinhos Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hjalmar Helström kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Eric Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Moreno in the 72nd minute of play. Marquinhos Teixeira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Eric Fredriksson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Marquinhos Teixeira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eric Fredriksson. That made the score 0-10 in the 80 minute of play. Alfredo Paraibano came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Balders Hage IF's Sigvard Brask. But to his dismay, Sigvard Brask quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-10. Kauã Moreno scored 1-11 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Fredriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Balders Hage IF getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Simon Sjöberg hit a great ball. The FÊNIX F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FÊNIX F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
