With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrzej Badanowski in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Fredriksson saved Balders Hage IF from getting behind. Linköpings AIK's Stefan Blomqvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eric Fredriksson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marbjörn Garpsson made a great header on Linköpings AIK's corner, it was just that Balders Hage IF's Eric Fredriksson managed to reach the ball for a save. 10 minutes into the game, Linköpings AIK's Andrzej Badanowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Fredriksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alf Felin made in the 22nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nils Asklund. 24 minutes into the game, Andrzej Badanowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Eric Fredriksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Linköpings AIK's Fabrício Castanheira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alf Felin, made in the 28th minute of the game.
