In the 15thth minute of the game Valter Xabat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DongFeng Honda FC's 顾战伟 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Xabat in the 17th minute of play forced DongFeng Honda FC's goalkeeper 顾战伟 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Alemannia Aachen's Manfred Kottsieper got a free kick in the 20th minute. 顾战伟 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Wawrukiewicz in the 22nd minute of play. Thomas Müller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the DongFeng Honda FC defense, Manfred Kottsieper kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 顾战伟. Mateusz Rydel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 40 minutes of play, Alemannia Aachen's Louis Leißner made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 顾战伟 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's Valter Xabat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 顾战伟 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathias-Alexander Leers to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Manfred Kottsieper kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 顾战伟. That made the score 0-8 in the 51 minute of play. 顾战伟 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Lech Wawrukiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valter Xabat in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 顾战伟 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mathias-Alexander Leers in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 顾战伟, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Manfred Kottsieper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but 顾战伟 made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Rydel got free with 顾战伟 in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manfred Kottsieper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but 顾战伟 made a huge save.
