When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Salih Orus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. With a little luck, San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax got control of the ball when Gelu Nicolau tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 played minutes Central got a freekick which was hit by Justinian Law. The San Martin de Tucuman players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
