An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Lizewski in the 20th minute of play forced Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Flavio Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zygmunt Juzda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Negulici in the 22nd minute of play. If Patryk Lizewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Peter made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Patryk Lizewski sent off a good shot on target. Tomasz Osielski hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when LKS Wasik Lidzbark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patryk Lizewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Korneliusz Barna made the kick off in the second half. Tomasz Osielski might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Peter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomasz Osielski ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Patryk Lizewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Peter was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. The supporters of LKS Wasik Lidzbark booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xerxes Doro didn't get a good kick on the ball. LKS Wasik Lidzbark's Zygmunt Juzda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save LKS Wasik Lidzbark from getting a goal against them. After 87 minutes, Tiberiu Zgârcu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti and the LKS Wasik Lidzbark players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Zgârcu to maneuver through the defense.
