The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 12 minutes into the game, Abdülhak Kebir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SARI ZEYBEK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KAFSONAS F.C. the free kick. A collision led to SARI ZEYBEK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Abdülhak Kebir hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Nasos Karagiannos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SARI ZEYBEK's Altay Bayındır didn't even have to move. KAFSONAS F.C.'s Telis Ikonomou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdülhak Kebir in the 18th minute of play. Samuel Osaiyuwu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, KAFSONAS F.C.'s Konstantinos Anastasopoulos got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdülhak Kebir in the 29th minute of play forced KAFSONAS F.C.'s goalkeeper Telis Ikonomou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Abdülhak Kebir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telis Ikonomou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in KAFSONAS F.C.'s zone, Abdülhak Kebir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telis Ikonomou came out of the goal and Abdülhak Kebir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdülhak Kebir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Telis Ikonomou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Telis Ikonomou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Osaiyuwu in the 44th minute of play. Samuel Osaiyuwu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telis Ikonomou having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustratios Stabouloglou to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, SARI ZEYBEK's Abdülhak Kebir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Telis Ikonomou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Telis Ikonomou successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when İsmail Yuksek got free with Telis Ikonomou in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telis Ikonomou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th match minute, SARI ZEYBEK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İrfan-Can Kahveci to maneuver through the defense. SARI ZEYBEK made a substitution. The KAFSONAS F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
