Humberto Remicio started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Oséas Trigo made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro Mateus. Teodelina FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 20th match minute, Agua Santa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Rene Houseman, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Venceslao came free, but Tomé Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Oséas Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Ernani Valladares got a free kick in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Jânio Arantes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agua Santa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teodelina FC the free kick. Jânio Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Agua Santa's Enrique Abreu was substituted for Ernani Valladares. In the 47th minute, Jânio Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oséas Trigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Abreu got free with Alvaro Mateus in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oséas Trigo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 65 minutes, Eugênio Monteiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agua Santa and the Teodelina FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eugênio Monteiro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Teodelina FC's Rene Houseman tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Oséas Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodelina FC's Mauricio Venceslao got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Remicio in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Maureo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teodelina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agua Santa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Teodelina FC's Tiburcio Maureo got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Oséas Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Agua Santa getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tiago Cosme hit a great ball. Tomé Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Venceslao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Oséas Trigo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Mateus. The goal made the score 0-2. Agua Santa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
