Amado Salazar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Augusto Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, BEST FABIO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Amado Salazar came free, but João Augusto Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Juninho de Sena fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BEST FABIO F.C.'s protests and gave Juninho de Sena a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Edgar Heerdt got a free kick in the 12th minute. 15 minutes in the game Atilla Kağan Ergüvenç did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rodrigo Garro. In the 17th minute, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Rodrigo Garro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adrian Txindoki. Adrian Txindoki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 21st minute Amado Salazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobald Jekot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BEST FABIO F.C.'s João Augusto Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Salazar in the 25th minute of play. Amado Salazar's late challenge caught a BEST FABIO F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amado Salazar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Amado Salazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amado Salazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Augusto Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Salazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Amado Salazar took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Augusto Simões. João Augusto Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Adalberto Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The throw-in from Juninho de Sena in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Viseu United's Gerwin Dongen. João Augusto Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Salazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Amado Salazar came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Viseu United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Salazar couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Adrian Txindoki threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fritz Berghmans, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fritz Berghmans to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Jiang Liang Wei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amado Salazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but João Augusto Simões made a huge save. Viseu United's Aprígio Lousada was substituted for Matias Pegado. 73 minutes into the match, Viseu United's Ziemowit Gdowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Augusto Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Augusto Simões was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ziemowit Gdowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 86 minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Ziemowit Gdowski notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of BEST FABIO F.C.'s João Augusto Simões. João Augusto Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute, Joaquim de Queirós made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Txindoki. Viseu United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The Viseu United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
