Dudu Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland De Cat charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland De Cat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Folke Österlund made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Gregoire Van Aertvin sent off a good shot on target. After 16 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Travassos. 21 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Borges came free, but Henrik Lieckens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Roland De Cat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Van Hautvin came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Folke Österlund could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Rockloos got free with Folke Österlund in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Marcel Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregoire Van Aertvin's late challenge caught a Catugi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregoire Van Aertvin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Silver Squad AFC's Gregoire Van Aertvin got a free kick in the 41st minute. Luiz Fernando Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Casper Van Hautvin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Folke Österlund. Casper Van Hautvin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dudu Borges made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Roland De Cat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Casper Van Hautvin fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Silver Squad AFC's protests and gave Casper Van Hautvin a yellow card for diving instead. 58 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's Dudu Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrik Lieckens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Henrik Lieckens successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dyllen Severyns kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Hernani Travassos took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrik Lieckens. Henrik Lieckens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 80th minute, Luiz Fernando Abraão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catugi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 85 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Henrik Lieckens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernani Travassos. Silver Squad AFC were furious when Dyllen Severyns was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Silver Squad AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Catugi FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Henrik Lieckens, was totally fooled by Catugi FC's Elói Fonseca, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Henrik Lieckens didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Catugi FC's Hernani Travassos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute. 96 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Henrik Lieckens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernani Travassos. Folke Österlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casper Van Hautvin in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Catugi FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
