Leandro Brito's late challenge caught a Andırın SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Brito helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Montevideo's Leandro Brito got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Erdem in the 7th minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Oleg Timofeev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Başaran Okay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Cavalcante in the 15th minute of the match. Oleg Timofeev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Erdem in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Jano Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Başaran Okay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Arthur Trigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Başaran Okay. Andırın SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arthur Trigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 36th minute of the match, Ömer Erdem tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oleg Timofeev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ergin Topel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Oleg Timofeev made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Erdem in the 44th minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Oleg Timofeev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Başaran Okay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Trigo in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Oleg Timofeev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Erdem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Cumhur Atasan came free, but Oleg Timofeev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes Montevideo got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Valadares. The supporters of Montevideo booed when Andırın SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tahsin Paksu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Başaran Okay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute.
