In the 2nd match minute, Edelényi Bányász was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lajos Murai to maneuver through the defense. The KIA KAHA fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when KIA KAHA's Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 12th minute, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to KIA KAHA getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Karl-Erik Lind hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes Edelényi Bányász got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Murai. Nicklas Smitt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pál Dankó having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, KIA KAHA's goal looked a bit too open when Márk Kuti came free, but Fabio Santilli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Edelényi Bányász defense, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pál Dankó. The Edelényi Bányász fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pál Dankó should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Dankó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Pál Dankó. Edelényi Bányász's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pál Dankó saved Edelényi Bányász from getting behind. Guo Jing Yuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Fabio Santilli made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Edelényi Bányász's Pál Dankó. Pál Dankó was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Edelényi Bányász booed when KIA KAHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lu Sha Cheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicklas Smitt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Károly Sándor during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Nicklas Smitt made a precise shot to the right of Pál Dankó. Edelényi Bányász's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. When Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the KIA KAHA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos couldn't finish the play. Edelényi Bányász made a substitution. Lukács Sóti replaced Kliment Frontov. Edelényi Bányász's Örs Markó was substituted for Iván Cordoba. KIA KAHA's Daniel Glanselius was substituted for Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos. KIA KAHA's Fabio Santilli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukács Sóti in the 65th minute of play. Daniel Glanselius might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pál Dankó. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Glanselius ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Glanselius got free with Pál Dankó in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Daniel Glanselius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pál Dankó. Edelényi Bányász's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Glanselius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukács Sóti in the 73rd minute of play forced KIA KAHA's goalkeeper Fabio Santilli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Glanselius took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pál Dankó. Pál Dankó dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Karl-Erik Lind, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Glanselius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pál Dankó. That made the score 0-9 in the 89 minute of play. Pál Dankó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Glanselius in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Daniel Glanselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KIA KAHA played a much better game than Edelényi Bányász and deserved their victory. The Edelényi Bányász players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
