Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roque Servando in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pál Dankó prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Márk Kuti did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Ciro Tello 6 minutes into the match. Pál Dankó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Irrintzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 9 minutes of play, Acratas Unidos's Nicolas Irrintzi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pál Dankó was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolas Irrintzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pál Dankó having to interfere. If Teofilo Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pál Dankó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Servando in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Irrintzi in the 24th minute of play forced Edelényi Bányász's goalkeeper Pál Dankó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Acratas Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Baristo to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 played minutes Acratas Unidos got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Euloxu. 55 minutes into the match, Acratas Unidos's Roque Servando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pál Dankó narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paolo Nahia made a great header on Acratas Unidos's corner, it was just that Edelényi Bányász's Pál Dankó managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 62ndth minute of the game Nicolas Irrintzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edelényi Bányász's Pál Dankó was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute Siniša Mihajlović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Tello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Baltasar Froylan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pál Dankó was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The supporters of Acratas Unidos booed when Edelényi Bányász was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siniša Mihajlović didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Felipe Euloxu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acratas Unidos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edelényi Bányász the free kick. The supporters of Edelényi Bányász booed when Acratas Unidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Euloxu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
