Flavinho Alvarenga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Higinio Eate showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Higinio Eate charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Eate the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cavaliers FC's Higinio Eate got a free kick in the 17th minute. The Cavaliers FC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Cavaliers FC's Higinio Eate looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson França in the 23rd minute of play forced Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Jaime Villegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavinho Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Eate, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Jaime Villegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Passa o Tanque MZ's Flavinho Alvarenga got control of the ball when Higinio Eate tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Passa o Tanque MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Eate came free, but Flavinho Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cavaliers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Eate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavinho Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Passa o Tanque MZ's Flavinho Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Eate in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Christian Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Serafin Charro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavaliers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Charro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavinho Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Higinio Eate received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavinho Alvarenga came out and tried to block the shot, but Higinio Eate slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Higinio Eate made the kick off in the second half. Flavinho Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Eate in the 58th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Carlinhos Carvalho with Genílson França as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Carlinhos Carvalho's late challenge caught a Cavaliers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlinhos Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. Carlinhos Carvalho hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, Higinio Eate cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Flavinho Alvarenga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes in the game Carlinhos Carvalho did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gilson Amaral. The audience was convinced that Higinio Eate's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavinho Alvarenga was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Flavinho Alvarenga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Eate went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute, Dedê Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cavaliers FC booed when Passa o Tanque MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Eate in the 91st minute of play forced Passa o Tanque MZ's goalkeeper Flavinho Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavinho Alvarenga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Eate went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Passa o Tanque MZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cavaliers FC.
