Futbol Club RRFV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Soccer the free kick. Jarbas Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adilson Meira in the 7th minute of play. Maurilio Duque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adilson Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Piero Quispe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Hoffmann during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcel Hoffmann hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Angelo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donat Collier in the 18th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Futbol Club RRFV fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Futbol Club RRFV:s Angelo Velasco showed great skill when he stopped Zenaido Aramoyana:s penalty. Jarbas Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Hermes came free, but Maurilio Duque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luís Martins in the 35th minute of play forced Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Maurilio Duque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adilson Meira to maneuver through the defense. Maurilio Duque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Futbol Club RRFV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Didi Castro in the 45th minute. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Didi Castro hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Nova Soccer's Angelo Velasco threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Donat Collier, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
51 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goal looked a bit too open when Eusko Zubicoeta came free, but Angelo Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adhemar Cavalcante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Maurilio Duque made a huge save. Angelo Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Favila Villaren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th match minute, Nova Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenaido Aramoyana to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute André Luís Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurilio Duque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Soccer from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Maurilio Duque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adhemar Cavalcante. Eusko Zubicoeta hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Maurilio Duque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Martins in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that André Luís Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurilio Duque was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Nova Soccer's Czeslaw Dejo got a free kick in the 74th minute. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when Nova Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piero Quispe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Angelo Velasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute, André Luís Martins fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maurilio Duque, passed just outside the right post. Donat Collier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Futbol Club RRFV's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
