The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Silvio Abadia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Antonio Natal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 10 minutes, Judas Verón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Judas Verón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th match minute, Belgrano de Pibasog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Frederico to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Natal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belgrano de Pibasog's Erasmo Jaunzuria managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by 毛真松 in the 17 minute of the game. Antonio Natal came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón. But to his dismay, Judas Verón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 21 minutes, Judas Verón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Judas Verón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Natal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Abadia in the 23rd minute. Belgrano de Pibasog's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Blue Dolar in the 24th minute. Antonio Natal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Judas Verón in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tierras altas AFC's 毛真松 got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tierras altas AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Judas Verón kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antonio Natal. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Judas Verón in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Natal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, Tierras altas AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Natal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Abadia. Antonio Natal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Judas Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Tierras altas AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Natal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Judas Verón. But to his dismay, Judas Verón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 44 minutes into the match, Tierras altas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Judas Verón came free, but Antonio Natal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Natal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Judas Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tierras altas AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Blue Dolar was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgrano de Pibasog's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Clemente Gaizkine at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Tierras altas AFC. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
Silvio Abadia scored 5-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Natal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Judas Verón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antonio Natal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Judas Verón in the 55th minute of the match. Belgrano de Pibasog's Eustaquio Fortun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antonio Natal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Judas Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Natal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Judas Verón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Natal having to interfere. Bernardo Raggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Armando Maradona in the 65th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Tierras altas AFC's corner 毛真松 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bernardo Raggio quite easily take care of the ball. Antonio Natal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Judas Verón's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After 82 minutes Tierras altas AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eustaquio Fortun who took care of the corner kick. After 84 minutes of play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Natal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iulian Ilinca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tierras altas AFC's Antonio Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Ilinca in the 89th minute of play. Antonio Natal came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca. But to his dismay, Iulian Ilinca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Silvio Abadia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tierras altas AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Belgrano de Pibasog.
