FALCÕES VERDES's Teodosio Leobardo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alberto Malheiro, made in the 51st minute of the game. Antonio Adán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pietro Santos in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes FALCÕES VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Bueno. After recieving a nice pass, SC Braga's Yan Zhan Cheng tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, one of SC Braga:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 57th minute, Pietro Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Adán was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. SC Braga's Donato Sampaio was substituted for Quintino Carvalhais. SC Braga's Jon-Egil Sætre was substituted for Gastão Veiga. Antonio Adán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pietro Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute.
