With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Saúl Menem in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sepp Mainville saved Zelg FC from getting behind. Sepp Mainville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Saúl Menem in the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s goalkeeper Carlos Lampe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Irwin Monney. 25 minutes into the game, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Carlos Saúl Menem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sepp Mainville made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Saúl Menem in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sepp Mainville prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Saúl Menem might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sepp Mainville. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Saúl Menem ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Saúl Menem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sepp Mainville having to make a save. Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Saúl Menem in the 33rd minute of play. Carlos Saúl Menem took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sepp Mainville. Sepp Mainville dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Carlos Saúl Menem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sepp Mainville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Saúl Menem, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Saúl Menem made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Saúl Menem came free, but Sepp Mainville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Irwin Monney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 91st minute Martin Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sepp Mainville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
