Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marsilam Sangaji, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marsilam Sangaji in the 11th minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marsilam Sangaji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes Unidad de Matanza got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Ortzi. In the 21st minute, Emílio Terra fired a really elegant long shot, but Jonatan Eguzki threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Unidad de Matanza were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Errecaborda AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eustacio Ortzi took the corner. The corner led to Unidad de Matanza's Waldemar Okopny getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Marsilam Sangaji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marsilam Sangaji, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, one of Errecaborda AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Errecaborda AFC:s Edmond Verdun showed great skill when he stopped Marsilam Sangaji:s penalty. Marsilam Sangaji blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmond Verdun having to make a save. Emílio Terra came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonatan Eguzki could save by the left post. With a little luck, Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki got control of the ball when Emílio Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marsilam Sangaji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marsilam Sangaji made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Marsilam Sangaji cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edmond Verdun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Unidad de Matanza fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Unidad de Matanza's Marsilam Sangaji looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Unidad de Matanza's Máximo Kirchner was substituted for Lotfi Ziadi. Jonatan Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Errecaborda AFC defense, Michal Stehno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmond Verdun. The Errecaborda AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmond Verdun should have stopped the shot. Jonatan Eguzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Terra in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Prospero Jerardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonatan Eguzki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Stehno in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Stehno got free with Edmond Verdun in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmond Verdun made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Máximo Kirchner sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Unidad de Matanza had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
