TIBURON F.C's Mathias Bastos got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mathias Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th minute Paco Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Grêmio FBPA defense, Mathias Bastos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jardel Sanches. The Grêmio FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jardel Sanches should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, TIBURON F.C's Emanuel Ceandro got control of the ball when Jorge Recife tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emanuel Ceandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mathias Bastos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jardel Sanches was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Paco Sancho came free, but Jardel Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Ceandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Recife in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute Grêmio FBPA were awarded a corner. Filiph Biörling went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Grêmio FBPA's corner Filiph Biörling fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emanuel Ceandro quite easily take care of the ball. Emanuel Ceandro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiph Biörling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Ceandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiph Biörling, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Grêmio FBPA getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alberto Estevon hit a great ball.

TIBURON F.C's Celedonio Madeo was substituted for Clemente Azeari. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filiph Biörling stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, TIBURON F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Rot came free, but Emanuel Ceandro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 56 in the game by Mathias Bastos from a close distance when the talented Jardel Sanches managed to make a qualified save. Grêmio FBPA's players were relieved. 58 minutes into the match, TIBURON F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Biörling came free, but Emanuel Ceandro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TIBURON F.C's Paco Sancho suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Alberto Estevon's late challenge caught a TIBURON F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Estevon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Grêmio FBPA's Alberto Estevon got a free kick in the 62nd minute. TIBURON F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lázaro Quintana in the 68th minute. The corner led TIBURON F.C's Lázaro Quintana to fire away a dangerous shot which Jardel Sanches despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 72nd minute Ted Hoogenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Ceandro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Carolo Llorenc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jardel Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathias Bastos in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 80th minute of play forced TIBURON F.C's goalkeeper Emanuel Ceandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Ceandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Pipis Karapatakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Ceandro. The supporters of Grêmio FBPA booed when TIBURON F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Bierfass didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Valdir de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Ceandro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
