Jardel Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Pracki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jardel Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Pracki in the 16th minute of play. Herbert Pracki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Sanches having to interfere. If Herbert Pracki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Herbert Pracki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Biörling came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Hoogenkamp in the 28th minute of play forced Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiph Biörling in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Ceni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Filiph Biörling put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rogério Ceni. Jardel Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Pracki in the 35th minute of the match. Herbert Pracki might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jardel Sanches. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herbert Pracki ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Jardel Sanches successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Jardel Sanches, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Jardel Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herbert Pracki. In the 45thth minute of the game Pipis Karapatakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Rogério Ceni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filiph Biörling to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Herbert Pracki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jardel Sanches. Grêmio FBPA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herbert Pracki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 59 minutes into the match, Herbert Pracki notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS made a substitution. Teodoro Hartz replaced Cumhur Günay. The supporters of Grêmio FBPA booed when Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Navin Dale didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filiph Biörling got free with Rogério Ceni in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Herbert Pracki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jardel Sanches was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Grêmio FBPA's Valdir de Alcântara was substituted for Filiph Biörling. Teodoro Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The Belgrano LOS PIRATAS fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Teodoro Hartz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew the final whistle, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS could leave the field as winners, despite Grêmio FBPA having more of the ball for most of the match.
