Luiz Fabiano Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandros Kyrimlis in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, GREEK ARMY's Aris Skilas got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute of the match Leripe Lifestyle got a corner. GREEK ARMY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Durvalino Penha ran over to the corner to take the kick. Durvalino Penha made a great header on Leripe Lifestyle's corner, it was just that GREEK ARMY's Styrbjörn Stokken managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Lambis Kazantzakoglou made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Leripe Lifestyle's goal looked a bit too open when Lambis Kazantzakoglou came free, but Luiz Fabiano Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonis Nikopolidis hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Fabinho Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Murilo Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Leripe Lifestyle's Durvalino Penha got a free kick in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Bastos in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Styrbjörn Stokken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 75 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Alexandros Kyrimlis. A collision led to Leripe Lifestyle getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Elpidio Mendebal hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Dino Madureira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Styrbjörn Stokken. GREEK ARMY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dino Madureira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in GREEK ARMY's zone, Elpidio Mendebal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Styrbjörn Stokken came out of the goal and Elpidio Mendebal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
