The supporters of FC Jamala booed when Defensores de Belén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Pazura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eddie Arenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Erramu having to interfere. Nikolaj Balon got a throw-in 7 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eddie Arenberg. 9 minutes into the game, FC Jamala's Renátó Csernyi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Erramu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Petr Školník made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tao Ke Qiang in the 16th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Tao Ke Qiang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Jamala's Petr Školník was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tao Ke Qiang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loco Martins short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Dante Erramu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Amador Ishmaels short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Dante Erramu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 33rd minute, Eddie Arenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Renátó Csernyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Erramu having to interfere. With his leg Dante Erramu managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when FC Jamala's Loco Martin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dante Erramu made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Loco Martin sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Defensores de Belén's Dante Erramu got control of the ball when Loco Martin tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tao Ke Qiang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Erramu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henning Eriksson in the 54th minute of play. Dante Erramu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Martin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Erramu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renátó Csernyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Petr Školník came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Belén's Tao Ke Qiang. But to his dismay, Tao Ke Qiang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A nice corner shot did that Nikolaj Balon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Erramu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 75 minutes into the match, FC Jamala's goalkeeper Petr Školník had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tao Ke Qiang. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Martin in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Erramu saved Defensores de Belén from getting behind. Cornelio Abastas charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Abastas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
