In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Arturo Ardines, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, FC Jamala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loco Martin to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Martin in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Ardines saved Club Sportivo Italiano from getting behind. Club Sportivo Italiano's Arturo Ardines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Martin in the 24th minute of play. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Loco Martin sped through Club Sportivo Italiano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arturo Ardines. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Martin in the 31st minute of play forced Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Arturo Ardines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Loco Martin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Ardines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Martin in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Ardines saved Club Sportivo Italiano from getting behind. Henning Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Arturo Ardines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loco Martin in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Ardines prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Eddie Arenberg came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the FC Jamala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddie Arenberg couldn't finish the play. After the first half FC Jamala were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Renátó Csernyi took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Arturo Ardines to make any attempt to save it. Loco Martin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Jamala's Petr Školník played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Rayman in the 62nd minute of play. Arturo Ardines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renátó Csernyi in the 63rd minute. Arturo Ardines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loco Martin in the 65th minute. FC Jamala's Petr Školník played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Masao Koriotto in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Hilario Rayman made a precise shot to the right of Petr Školník. FC Jamala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 85th match minute, FC Jamala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afşar Aydınoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Petr Školník took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Rayman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loco Martins short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Arturo Ardines to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 89th minute, FC Jamala's Loco Martin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. After 93 minutes, Loco Martin made it 1-7 with a short kick to the right side. Club Sportivo Italiano's Arturo Ardines tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Henning Eriksson scored 1-8 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arturo Ardines, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Jamala played a much better game than Club Sportivo Italiano and deserved their victory. The Club Sportivo Italiano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
