Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the match, King Scorpio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani. Jorge Armani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th minute King Scorpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 12th minute of the match. Jorge Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Scorpio in the 13th minute of play. King Scorpio didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 13th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and King Scorpio ran dejectedly back to his position. In the 13thth minute of the game King Scorpio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Scorpio in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match A4p FC Gad got a corner. Esmeralda AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcin Pachucki ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on A4p FC Gad's corner Iulian Berceanu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jorge Armani quite easily take care of the ball. After 27th play minutes Andrew Dalli shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Glenn Fyfe and just under the crossbar into goal. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Dalli in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Esmeralda AFC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Aquilino Quinten hit a great ball. Marcin Pachucki, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. King Scorpio took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Armani. Jorge Armani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If James Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Scorpio in the 38th minute of play forced Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper Jorge Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Esmeralda AFC's Niceto Matxin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Niceto Matxin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Esmeralda AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Niceto Matxin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 41st minute, one of Esmeralda AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Esmeralda AFC. A4p FC Gad were furious when Cătălin Răduleț was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Gez Mason replaced James Batistuta. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of A4p FC Gad:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esmeralda AFC:s goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and King Scorpio made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Esmeralda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when King Scorpio came free, but Jorge Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zülfü Sungur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Glenn Fyfe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A4p FC Gad's Anfilogino Manzi was substituted for Erasmo Damião. A4p FC Gad's attentive Iulian Berceanu managed to snatch the ball when Aquilino Quinten made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. Jorge Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Scorpio in the 69th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Dumitru Purcărete heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 72nd match minute, A4p FC Gad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcin Pachucki to maneuver through the defense. Glenn Fyfe made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Banegas in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, A4p FC Gad's Alessandro Del Piero got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 80 minutes Esmeralda AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcin Pachucki who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Olle Olsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jorge Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87thth minute of the game King Scorpio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquilino Quinten made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by A4p FC Gad's Iulian Berceanu. Jorge Armani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of King Scorpio's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, A4p FC Gad's 邱振广 got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 96th match minute, A4p FC Gad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcin Pachucki to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe got control of the ball when Nicasio Fonda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Many of Esmeralda AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Esmeralda AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but A4p FC Gad were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
