David Banegas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Dennis Arvidsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Dalli in the 59th minute of play forced Team E.C Dahls's goalkeeper Dennis Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lê Yang charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Dennis Arvidsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrew Dalli in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Arvidsson saved Team E.C Dahls from getting behind. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Team E.C Dahls's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Devidatta Vendetta was slow to take the kick. During this time Esmeralda AFC's players had a chance to rest. In the 91st minute Esmeralda AFC were awarded a corner. Devidatta Vendetta went to the cornerflag to take it. Andrew Dalli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dennis Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Team E.C Dahls succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Esmeralda AFC had controlled the match.
