In the 33rd minute Eloy Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Niedziela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Esmeralda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kajar Püss came free, but Jorge Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 minutes, Kajar Püss made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alo Ülipikk in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Grimório were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kajar Püss made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Eloy Calvino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esmeralda AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Zülfü Sungur took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wawrzyniec Niedziela. Wawrzyniec Niedziela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Banegas in the 62nd minute of play forced Grimório's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Niedziela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Esmeralda AFC were awarded a corner. Kong Kun Xu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Kong Kun Xu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wawrzyniec Niedziela quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 66th minute, David Banegas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grimório's Renaud Van de Put was substituted for Joel Lüüs. 69 minutes into the game, Alo Ülipikk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jorge Armani. Alo Ülipikk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. Andrew Dalli hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes Esmeralda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Dalli. Wawrzyniec Niedziela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Banegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, David Banegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esmeralda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Banegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wawrzyniec Niedziela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esmeralda AFC's Nicasio Fonda was substituted for David Banegas. Wawrzyniec Niedziela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Calvino in the 79th minute of the match.
