Kaj Hårds short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Torsten Björnsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Atakan Pepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Ariwibowo in the 12th minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 15 in the game by Kaj Hård from a close distance when the talented Torsten Björnsson managed to make a qualified save. Stockholm Generals's players were relieved. Torsten Björnsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven Nordkvist's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Torsten Björnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Hamnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, spikarna's Kaj Hård sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torsten Björnsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kaj Hård kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Stockholm Generals's keeper Torsten Björnsson was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 33rd minute of the match, Sven Nordkvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Torsten Björnsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Nordkvist in the 41st minute of play forced Stockholm Generals's goalkeeper Torsten Björnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. spikarna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atakan Pepe in the 43rd minute. Olof Hamnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Kaj Hård made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Stockholm Generals's zone, Kaj Hård stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Björnsson came out of the goal and Kaj Hård tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Kaj Hård sped through Stockholm Generals's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torsten Björnsson. In the 60th minute Atakan Pepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Björnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stockholm Generals's Torsten Björnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Hård in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Stockholm Generals booed when spikarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Hamnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stockholm Generals made a substitution. Brian Bryngelsson replaced Henry Klemensson. Olof Hamnberg hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Lars Norberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Ariwibowo in the 67th minute. Atakan Pepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Björnsson having to interfere. Torsten Björnsson came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by spikarna's Atakan Pepe. But to his dismay, Atakan Pepe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Torsten Björnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atakan Pepe in the 85th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaj Hård in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Björnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Kaj Hård's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Björnsson was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Stockholm Generals's zone, Sven Nordkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Björnsson came out of the goal and Sven Nordkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the spikarna players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
