Lew Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Damazki in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Kolacki came free, but Lew Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ULKS Orkan Borzęcin's Witomir Adamus got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boruc Zachemski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ortle Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute Lucjan Kolacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led ULKS Orkan Borzęcin's Szymon Bielecki to fire away a dangerous shot which Lew Yashin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucjan Kolacki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lew Yashin. That made the score 1-1 in the 80 minute of play.
