Pål Sefastsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Hampus Vall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zair Hasa in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Magdziarz in the 14th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zair Hasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hampus Vall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zair Hasa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Barck in the 18th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When BK Tåfjutt's Karol Magdziarz in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 39thth minute of the game Karol Magdziarz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörn Barck got free with Pål Sefastsson in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to BK Tåfjutt getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Camilo Jerano hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

BK Tåfjutt made a substitution. Viktor Dahlman replaced Jörn Barck. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ken Golang to strike the kick off in the second half. Hampus Vall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andriy Shevchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Viktor Dahlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of BK Tåfjutt booed when National Team Cape-Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Snow didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute of the match BK Tåfjutt got a corner. National Team Cape-Verde's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kosmas Charalambakis ran over to the corner to take the kick. BK Tåfjutt's Kosmas Charalambakis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pål Sefastsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pål Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ken Golang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ken Golang came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the BK Tåfjutt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ken Golang couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute Viktor Dahlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BK Tåfjutt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kosmas Charalambakis in the 91st minute. The corner led BK Tåfjutt's Robert Lipinski to a score. 3-0 in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Ken Golang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, BK Tåfjutt's Ken Golang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pål Sefastsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pål Sefastsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ken Golang went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BK Tåfjutt fans cheered their team off the field, for while National Team Cape-Verde had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
