Ismael Tauro made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adolfo Gombal however managed to control. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Efraim in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Erik Norström saved Skövde AIK from getting behind. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when Skövde AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Norström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Efraim hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Chen Ao Fan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Feliberto Ipar made a huge save. Karl-Erik Norström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Efraim in the 38th minute of the match. Lobos de Carelia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adolfo Gombal in the 41st minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeca Fernandez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström got control of the ball when Zeca Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Gabriel Efraim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobos de Carelia's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Efraim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Erik Norström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Kevin Keegan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliberto Ipar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Karl-Erik Norström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliberto Ipar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chen Ao Fan's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Zeca Fernandez could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Karl-Erik Norström however easily saved by the left post. Karl-Erik Norström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquito Reyes in the 79th minute of play. Lobos de Carelia's Feliberto Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquito Reyes in the 91st minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Norström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquito Reyes in the 94th minute of play. Skövde AIK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lobos de Carelia for a fine match.
