Tomasz Sobania could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Giotis Tripotseris made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when Yılmaz Başdemir came free, but Wincenty Puchlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Soczewki Gliwice's zone, Baturay Zaim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincenty Puchlik came out of the goal and Baturay Zaim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Baturay Zaim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Puchlik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Thorstein came free, but Wincenty Puchlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soczewki Gliwice's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
