Casimiro Pirro was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Chivilcoy's players had a chance to rest. Enio Pires was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Enio Pires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Narcis Lucan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Niceto Theodore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narcis Lucan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Chivilcoy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RapidBarcelona.
