Babbis Psalidas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Latif Hanif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Poppy FC's Latif Hanif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Psalidas in the 35th minute of play. Kostas Venetidis kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Patrik Flinck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Koutsopαpoulos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patrik Flinck fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrik Flinck to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Koutsopαpoulos FC booed when Poppy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Savaş Pakel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Odysseas Plousis made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Argyris Tselementes however managed to control. 55 minutes into the match, Koutsopαpoulos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Flinck came free, but Kostas Kavalaris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Koutsopαpoulos FC defense, Patrik Flinck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kostas Kavalaris. The Koutsopαpoulos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kostas Kavalaris should have stopped the shot. Kostas Kavalaris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrik Flinck went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Thodoris Piatas hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Poppy FC's Seyrani Pamiroğlu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 73rd match minute, Koutsopαpoulos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theocharis Kabantais to maneuver through the defense. Latif Hanif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theocharis Kabantais in the 78th minute of play. Seyrani Pamiroğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seyrani Pamiroğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Poppy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyrani Pamiroğlu to maneuver through the defense. Babbis Psalidas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Latif Hanif firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Koutsopαpoulos FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Filippos Stavrou hit a great ball. Kostas Kavalaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seyrani Pamiroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Poppy FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Koutsopαpoulos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
