After a defensive mix-up in Koutsopαpoulos FC's zone, Robin Nürenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Kavalaris came out of the goal and Robin Nürenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 16 played minutes Pinneberger FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Finke. The audience was convinced that Theocharis Kabantais's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Don Braunheim was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Pinneberger FC's Che Voigt got a free kick in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theocharis Kabantais in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Don Braunheim saved Pinneberger FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Koutsopαpoulos FC's Vassilis Koutsoures got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th match minute, Koutsopαpoulos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vassilis Markos to maneuver through the defense. Kostas Venetidis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Koutsopαpoulos FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alfons Finke's late challenge caught a Koutsopαpoulos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfons Finke helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Koutsopαpoulos FC's Vassilis Koutsoures got a free kick in the 34th minute. Oliver Heiermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Che Voigt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Kavalaris having to interfere. The supporters of Koutsopαpoulos FC booed when Pinneberger FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Gose didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 minutes of play Koutsopαpoulos FC's Vassilis Markos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Pinneberger FC booed when Koutsopαpoulos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Markos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Pinneberger FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Robin Nürenberg made the kick off in the second half. Pinneberger FC's Don Braunheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Psalidas in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Babbis Psalidas put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Don Braunheim. A collision led to Pinneberger FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alfons Finke hit a great ball. 2-1 became the score in the 65th minute when Babbis Psalidas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Robin Nürenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Kostas Kavalaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Heiermann in the 73rd minute of play. Kostas Kavalaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Heiermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kostas Kavalaris came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinneberger FC's Robin Nürenberg. But to his dismay, Robin Nürenberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Robin Nürenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
