But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rômulo de Toledo couldn't finish the play. Cesinha de Souza stood somewhat misplaced when Aggelos Darlas came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. Kostas Kavalaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Zanette in the 13th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Koutsopαpoulos FC got a freekick which was hit by Thodoris Piatas. After 15 minutes, Geovanni Zanette made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Koutsopαpoulos FC's Kostas Kavalaris tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Geovanni Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Kavalaris having to interfere. A collision led to Koutsopαpoulos FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Vassilis Koutsoures hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Pimento's goal looked a bit too open when Aggelos Darlas came free, but Cesinha de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Koutsopαpoulos FC's Kostas Kavalaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Zanette in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Koutsopαpoulos FC's goalkeeper Kostas Kavalaris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Nilson Terra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kostas Kavalaris. Koutsopαpoulos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilson Terra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Babbis Psalidas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Cesinha de Souza made a huge save. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Babbis Psalidas sped through Pimento's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cesinha de Souza. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aggelos Darlas to strike the kick off in the second half. Dário Guerra's late challenge caught a Koutsopαpoulos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dário Guerra helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pimento getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dário Guerra hit a great ball. Pimento were furious when Christian Paraíba was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pimento! Vassilis Markos walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesinha de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71stth minute of the game Aggelos Darlas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pimento's Cesinha de Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Rony Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Pimento defense, Babbis Psalidas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesinha de Souza. The Pimento fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesinha de Souza should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the game, Rômulo de Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pimento's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Koutsopαpoulos FC the free kick. In the 82nd minute Babbis Psalidas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesinha de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aggelos Darlas in the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Pimento booed when Koutsopαpoulos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Markos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pimento's Cesinha de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Psalidas in the 97th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aggelos Darlas in the 99th minute of play forced Pimento's goalkeeper Cesinha de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
